Claire Taylor holds a BFA in fine art with a printmaking emphasis and is pursuing her MS in Environmental Humanities at the University of Utah. For several years she worked as the Studio Manager of the Book Arts Program and Head Printer for the Red Butte Press, where she taught classes and workshops in letterpress and bookmaking. Working in letterpress, drawn and water-based media she has exhibited her work internationally. Influenced by the wildlife that she encounters in the hills surrounding her Salt Lake City home, her work investigates animal intelligence and the intersections of the wild and urban realms.
